You are expected as a member of this role-play to follow each and every one of the rules below. Failure to do so can result in getting on the bad side of your leader or being banned from Resonance all together.
This role-play's rule system is based off of a three strike system. So basically; three strikes, you're out. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. If you're kicked from the role-play you are to immediately uninstall and leave the map. If you fail to do so, we have a right to contact a Feral-heart moderator/admin for harassment and let them deal with you. So please, if you want to stay in our role play, FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE RULES. Read them over and over if you have to; whatever can get you to remember what and what not to do!
B a s i c
1.) Be literate. You were recruited into this role-play because you were seen as a literate individual with role-play potential. Out of character fine, be illiterate if you want; but I want no less than two sentences in each of your posts. I understand writers' block is a thing, and I understand that we all get it (including me!), but you don't have it 24/7, actually try to role-play when you're online.
2.) Be active. Each and every members of Resonance is as important as the next; we need you to be active if we want to keep this role-play going! Don't get online just to get offline five minutes later. If you get on, stay on! Someone's bound to get on eventually, and there you go! You can roleplay with them. Until then, pass the time with playing another game, drawing, watching YouTube videos; something to keep you busy as you wait! You complain that nobody gets online, when you getting on and getting off is just another part of the activity problem!
3.) This role-play can be seen as mature; yes we do cuss! It's a part of life, get over it! Feel free to cuss out of character, but in character it's a bit unrealistic for a clan cat to use such words. Try using normal warrior cat curse words. (Examples include: Mousebrain, Foxdung, Birdbrain) If you have a problem with cussing, I suggest you leave the role-play now as you will most likely not enjoy all the /harsh/ language.
4.) I've gone over this many times in many different role-plays; do not god-mod or power-play! It's completely unrealistic and annoying at the same time! A cat can't dodge /every/ /single/ /attack/. Nor can a cat directly hit their opponent every single time. When fighting, be sure to 'attempt' and 'aim' at your opponent. If I see any 'No miss''s in your posts, you'll immediately get a strike in your days remaining in Resonance. A player has three dodges in a single fight - Use them wisely!
5.) While out advertising, do not constantly bug your leader or whoever is advertising that day to go back to the map and role-play - nor should you complain about constant lag. Yes, I understand it's an issue but we really don't want to hear it. You should know how to get your lag down as far as it can go by now! (Turn view distance down, water reflection off, etc.) Complaining about lag or going to the map just causes stress on the leader and will most likely get them cranky! If you want to go to the map - go to the map! It's not that hard to do, so do it.
R o l e p l a y
1.) Your Clan leader (as well as any other leader in the roleplay)'s word is law! Do not question them in character. Out of character, if you have a problem, be mature and bring it up to them or an administrator/moderator.
2.) Be REALISTIC! I cannot stress this enough! This goes for markings, colors, size, as well as name!
Anyone caught larger than these will be told to change size - failure in doing so will get you a strike.
Newborn Kit size.
2-5 moon old kit size.
6-11 moon old female app. size.
6-11 moon old male app. size
12-?? moon old female warrior size.
12-?? moon old male warrior size.
There are a few exceptions with exceeding the size rule, however it would be wise to contact staff and ask them beforehand.
Breeds such as the Sphynx will not be allowed in this role-play, as there is no way of surviving leaf-bare without a winter coat.
You will not have super-human strength, unusual characteristics such as super-long claws. Nor will you /always/ catch the prey that you are hunting. Your cat isn't perfect, they're the same as a regular cat. Look at any cat in real life, would you imagine them tearing out another cat's windpipe? No? I didn't think so.
(pass: timelord)
You will not have bright colors. I understand if you're trying to have an orange colored cat and can't get the colors right, but don't keep it if it doesn't look right; and if you think it does, it probably doesn't.
Names - the one thing that defines your character. The name of your cat brings the whole thing together, and creates a new life that you're in charge of. So why the hell would you name is Deadsoul. Warriors cats are usually named after appearance, characteristics, etc.
(Accepted name examples:
Lionpelt(Lion for his courageous personality, pelt for his orangey lion-like coat.)
Orchiddawn(Orchid for her light gray/white pelt, dawn for her calm, collected personality.)
Also, we will not have our suffix capitalized. (Ex. OrchidDawn.)
We will have only the first letter of our name a capital letter. (Ex. Orchiddawn.)
(Wow! Sorry this rule was so long!)
3.) You are allowed three characters in the role-play, plus one elder. So four cats all together. Yes, it may be a cat in each clan.
You need to remember though: stay the most active in the first clan you joined!
I don't care if your main clan is thriving while another barely has anyone on all the time; first clan, first priority!
If caught abandoning your characters for others, you will be told that you /need/ to be more active in your first clan or else that character will be kicked and thought of as dead by the rest of the clan.
4.) Please do not talk of sexual orientation, racism, or vulgar topics as it is a triggering topic for some. If your characters want to be gay, let em' be gay. We accept all sexualities in Resonance, as should you accept that and get on with it. If there is any bad talk about sexual orientation you will immediately be talked to by a leader, deputy or administrator in the group and will get a strike added to your list.
5.) Do not seek attention by getting injured, sick, or causing havoc among the clan. If you want to be attacked and be injured in some way, you must first get permission from your clan leader or deputy. If you're caught doing it just because you want to be noticed, you will get a stern talking to as well as a strike. Want to role-play with someone? Walk up to them and role-play! It's not that hard! Make your cat go up to them and say hello, start a conversation with the person!
M a p
1.) Do not give out the map password and/or map download to ANYONE without your LEADER's permission. I don't care if it's your friend, I don't care if it's a member asking for the password in the group. Do NOT give it out. This rule is very strictly given, and if you are to break it this costs you two strikes instead of one. Only are the leader, deputy, or someone who was asked to can give it out to others. Anyone else caught giving out the map password will get a stern talking to.
2.) If you are a clan cat and are caught anywhere else but your territory you will get a strike and be punished in character. You are not allowed to go out of your character in or out of character without permission from both your leader and the leader of the clan you're trespassing into.
3.) If you and your character's partner want to mate, and you /want/ to role-play it out, please, do it in whisper, AWAY from the camp. No butt-dancing over another person's character while 'doing' it. If you are caught it's an immediate strike.
4.) No animals other than cats are to be brought into the map unless for a plot reason. If you are caught doing this, you will get a strike and be told to remove your character from the map. Failure to do so will result in a ban from the role-play and contact to a Feral-heart mod for harassment.
W e b s i t e
1.) Do not advertise for yours or any other role-play on our chat. This website is for Resonance and Resonance only. If you're caught advertising you will be told to stop and will receive a strike.
2.) Do not spam the chat. At least let someone else respond to you instead of having your name down the entire thing. It gets annoying and you can easily just write it in one post, if not two.

Kits - Once born, kits are unable to see or hear. Their eyes are closed and their ears are folded in. Usually, they take seven to ten days to see and hear, though in Resonance, please role-play your kit for two real life days before finally opening their eyes. Allow at least four days of real life to pass by before becoming an apprentice.
Apprentice - Apprentices will get mentors and immediately begin their training! Training usually takes up to 4-6 moons in the books, so in Resonance, please allow at least four days of training before becoming a warrior.
Warrior - Congratulations! You're now a full-fledged warrior of your clan! You can now fight and protect your clan like any other warrior you've always dreamed of being. Warriors will become elders at 84 moons, or seven years of age. Remember, every moon is two real life days.
Elder - Your cat has now retired and can live peacefully for the rest of their moons in the clan.
K i t t i n g
New kits are always appreciated and valued, and it's great news that you and your mate are finally starting a family of your own! But remember, too many mouths to feed could cause a huge problem. You are only allowed to have up to three kits in your litter, and you, the parent, are responsible for finding them on your own. Please allow one week of role-play before your she-cat finally gives birth to her kits!
D e p u t y
1.) You are responsible for setting dawn and dusk patrols throughout camp each day.
2.) You're deputy, so you're expected to be at your leader's side most of the time. Remember to be active! If you're not on for a few days, you can easily be replaced by many other willing clan members.
3.) Yes, you have power over the clan, but do /not/ abuse that power.
M e d i c i n e C a t
1.) No making up herbs! They must be familiar with the herbs of warriors, or at least other real herbs.
2.) Medicine cats MUST be active at least five times a week! You WILL be replaced if you're not active!
3.) You are required to go to the medicine cat trips every week, if you don't show up for them you can be replaced by someone who can.
4.) You are responsible for choosing an apprentice when your time has come to retire. Tell your leader out of character and then role-play it out.
5.) Medicine cats are NOT allowed to have mates! If you've read the books you'd know this already; but it's annoying when medicine cats are having forbidden love with another.
L e a d e r / A d m i n / M o d
1.) As a leader, admin or mod, you are expected to be active in this role-play! Leaders and admins most active, while mods are required to come on at least four times a week. If you're not active, you will be replaced with someone who will be.
2.) Yes, you have power. Yes, you can tell others what to do. No, you cannot abuse this privilege.
3.) Leaders; you MUST attend the gatherings unless you have an excuse to miss them!
